December A Time For Reflection

Have you ever wondered where the day let alone the year has gone?

We spend so much time trying to keep up with all the technical aspects of our lives, from blackberry, emails, texts, facebook and so on. I have learned for myself directly we can try try to accomplish so much electronically in communication, but the personal touch is lost dramatically. I do not feel one can ever conquer the needs and requests of so many electronically and remain polite caring as we should to each other in electronic communication. A clear example of putting too much on one’s plate, as I joined facebook 3 weeks ago (nothing negative towards this company, this is a grand form of communication, just not a place for me right now) while organizing a one of a kind in the nation educational event for 500 young people, I learned a hard lesson. I should have adhered to my own advice I give my clients...do not overload your brain to the point you do not complete critical tasks, as you will be overwhelmed with new adventures and you can not answer every email, phone call, texts and facebook comment 100% and be healthy. SO as I reflect in preparing for presenting my first “Women Honoring Thyself Workshop” in one week, I will admit humbly I have learned “my lesson”.

“Being everything to everybody” will not happen, being the best mommy and personI can be, is what I strive to achieve each and every minute.

Have a grand Holidays!
