With our community partnerships, we have been honored to be part of three wonderful and successful events.  Families for Children’s CAP WALK to stop the violence on children was well attended and brought together many organizations and leaders for all families. Adelante Mujer Latina, empowerment conference for Latinas and their mothers, began the confernece with new early bird sessions and a day filled with educational messages and successful futures for Latinas ages 13 to 18 years of age.  The Long Beach Women’s conference, our session on Domestic Violence was well recieved and it is our hope to save many more lives for a healthier future.  Thank you to those organizations who seek our expertise and License in Occupational Therapy and Wellness.

We are excited to announce that our vision of successfully addressing the needs of our Latino young men will occur again with “Amino:Young Latino Men’s Confernece A community Initative on behalf of Therapy Designs” on November 11, 2006 at California State University Los Angeles.  It is our goal to have Latino young men ages 12 to 17 to attend the conference with their fathers.  More information to follow.

Thank you to those who have supported services with your purchase of “Stepping Into Greatness”.  There are copies still available.
